Industry veteran Dilber Mann, whose game development career under many studios that span across major publishers such as Activision, THQ, Sega, Capcom, and recently coming off of Microsoft on the Gears of War franchise, now puts his expertise towards the main Brazilian external development studio
Brazilian leading external development gaming company, proudly announces their partnership with Momenic Creations Inc. who bring their executive Dilber Mann to take on the challenge of building and executing on Kokku’sStrategic Development Roadmap. Mann, a seasoned veteran from the games industry whose career includes R&D, Product & Production Management, Strategic Development, and Strategic Global Sourcing, is the first big international hire for Kokku, expanding the company from Recife to the global gaming market.
“Dilber Mann’s keen interest in Kokku’s growth shows our commitment in turning the company to become the main external development games studio in Latin America in the short term, and will lead us to become one the main external development and co-development studios globally”, says Thiago de Freitas, Kokku CEO. “Mr. Mann will alternate his global strategic development for Kokku between Recife, and as we expand, through Vancouver and other cities around the globe.”

Mr. Mann is a long time committee member of the External Development Summit (XDS) held in Vancouver and Mentor/Founder of the Momenic Business Mentorship Program for game developers in emerging markets – a mentorship delivered to Kokku for the last two years.
Kokku received, since 2017, investments from Finep, Ancine and Anjos do Brasil, and plans its international expansion until 2019. The first office in North America is scheduled to open still in 2018. Kokku has a 4-story, 8,100 square foot office in Recife to cope with growing team – now with more than 30 job openings, including 3D artists, animators, programmers and producers.
The most known external development projects made by Kokku are the 3D art production for Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn, programming for the franchise Sniper Ghost Warrior III(CI Games) and co-development with GameOlic for Tantra Rumble, to be released in 2018, among other projects for global studios under NDA.
