Segunda edição do Indie Game Awards aconteceu na noite de quinta, 18 de dezembro, e anunciou os vencedores em 21 categorias dedicadas ao cenário de jogos independentes. A cerimônia foi transmitida ao vivo às 18h30 no horário do leste dos Estados Unidos e às 15h30 no Pacífico.

Ocorreu apresentando premiações que destacaram desde Game of the Year até acessibilidade, design e inovação.

Organizado pelo grupo responsável pelo canal Six One Indie, o evento reuniu jogos e estúdios de diversas regiões do mundo. A programação destacou segmentos gravados para cada premiação, com possibilidade de assistir aos trechos separadamente ou acompanhar a apresentação completa no canal oficial.
