Risk Trails é o novo jogo indie brasileiro de Alex Leal (Capital Fire) e Gilson Schwartz (Games For Change América Latina). Seu lançamento em 29 de outubro de 2024 foi antecipado pelo Drops de Jogos. Trata-se de um game antenado com os males do aquecimento global.
O jogo é iniciativa e patrocínio do CEMADEN do MCTI, Ministério de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação do governo Lula. Foi desenvolvido em parceria com a equipe Cemaden Educação, sob a coordenação de Raquel Trajber e financiamento do CNPq. Ele foi lançado na ONU, nos Estados Unidos.

Risk Trails is an educational game developed in Brazil through a partnership between Cemaden (National Center for Monitoring and Early Warning of Natural Disasters)/ Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation – Dr. Rachel Trajber, Coordinator of the Cemaden Education Program; Professor Gilson Schwartz, President of Games for Change Latin America and Associate Professor at the Department of Cinema, Radio, and TV at USP; Alex Leal, CEO of Lizards Games, a pioneer in the development of Newsgames and the teaching of digital games at universities.
Risk Trails is a powerful tool to raise awareness about the importance of disaster preparedness and response, with engaging and instructive gameplay. The game focuses on socio environmental disasters risks prevention and teaches players how to identify, prevent, and respond to events such as floods, landslides, droughts and wild fires.
In this project, players take on the role of risk managers, learning to make critical decisions to minimize the impact of natural disasters and save lives. Risk Trails provides an interactive and educational experience, emphasizing the importance of knowledge in protecting communities in times of climate emergency. #alexlealdigital #alex_leal_artist #lizardsgames_indie
